The action starts on Friday, when the Toronto Marlies come to Cleveland for the fourth and final time this year. So far this season, the Monsters are 4-1-0-1 against Toronto, and will play their North Division foe just one more time, when they travel to the Ricoh Coliseum on March 14^th. Currently, the Marlies, with 65 points, sit in fourth place in the North Division, nine points ahead of the sixth place Monsters.

Saturday will be another monumental challenge, as the Monsters welcome the second-best team in the Western Conference, the Grand Rapids Griffins, to The Q. This season, the Monsters are 3-2-0-1against the second best in the West. After Saturday’s tilt, the teams will faceoff one more time, when the Griffins come to The Q on March 22^nd.

The weekend’s action will conclude on Sunday, when the Hamilton Bulldogs and the Monsters faceoff for the eighth and final time this season on the first of March. This season Lake Erie has gone 2-5 against the Bulldogs, with both wins against the team coming on home ice at The Q.

Center T.J. Hensick will return to the Lake Erie lineup for Friday and Saturday's games as he was assigned to the Monsters on a conditioning loan by the team's NHL affiliate, the Colorado Avalanche.

After this weekend, the Monsters return to The Q next weekend for three games in three nights. The team hosts Rochester on Friday March 6^th and Saturday March 7^th, and takes on the Hershey Bears on Sunday, March 8^th.
