The Match-Up The Monsters are in the midst of playing five games in six days, including a four-game/five-day home stand. Lake Erie is going for their first win at home, and first win in franchise history. After Tuesday's loss to Iowa, the team is 0-5 overall, 0-4 at The Q. The Stars are currently 2-2 and in fifth place in the West division of the Western Conference, following Tuesday's win. Iowa is the top affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars. Heading into Tuesday, in three games so far this season, the Stars have posted a 5.55 goals against average, compared to the Monsters 5.26. Lake Erie goaltenders have posted 122 saves in their four games, while their Iowa counterparts have recorded just 80. Matt Hussey, Dan DaSilva and Mike Vernace are leading the Monsters with three points apiece. Tuesday, October 16th Monsters fans will not have to miss any of the Indians ALCS action next door at Jacobs Field. The Q will be providing live in-game updates from the Tribe. Tuesday is "Office Space" Night at The Q. Fans will crack up at in-game entertainment inspired by the cult fave movie. The game will air on a tape delay on ESPN 850 WKNR following the Indians game , as well as live via webcast online through B2. Wednesday, October 17th Wednesday will kick off the season's College Nights. Fans will save $3 off their ticket with a valid college ID every Wednesday and Thursday.
