The Monsters look to get back in the win column Wednesday when they travel to play the Toronto Marlies at Ricoh Coliseum. This the final game of three straight between the two teams. The Marlies beat the Monsters 7-1 Friday before squeaking by Lake Erie, 3-2, in a shootout Sunday.

Here are some items to note before Wednesday's game:

• The Monsters will need to slow down Toronto forwards Christian Hanson and Alex Foster if they hope to win Wednesday's game. In three games against the Monsters this season, Hanson has recorded eight points (4G, 4A), while Foster has scored four points (3G, 1A) in the last two games against the Monsters.
• To date, Hanson is second among AHL rookies with 18 points (8G, 10A).
• Foster has also scored a goal in four consecutive games. The streak is currently tied for the third longest in the AHL. 
• Lake Erie will also try to put a halt to defenseman Juraj Mikas stellar play at Ricoh Coliseum. Mikas has scored a point in seven consecutive home games. Mikas' home point streak is tied for the third-longest streak in the AHL.
• Toronto is one of the most penalized teams in the league, as the Marlies are averaging 25.50 penalty minutes per game, which is fourth most in the league.
• The Monsters have struggled with getting shots on goal so far this season.  The team is averaging 26.58 shots per game, which is the second fewest in the AHL.
• Lake Erie's Brian Fahey currently leads all defenseman with a 20 percent shooting percentage. Fahey has scored five goals on 25 shots.
