Lake Erie assistant coach Dan Laperriere has been recognized as one of the top 50 players in the history of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC). Through four seasons at St. Lawrence University (1988-1992), Laperriere posted 120 points (21G, 99A) in 124 games as one of the Saints' top blue liners. Laperriere went on to play 48 NHL games, spending time with the Ottawa Senators and St. Louis Blues.
