Yip Excels on Big Stage

Former Lake Erie Monster, Brandon Yip, has thrived in the NHL spotlight since he was called up to parent club Colorado last season.
After recovering from an injury suffered early in the 2009-10 campaign, Yip scored two goals in six games with Lake Erie, earning a well-deserved call up to the Avalanche.
In the remainder of the season, he amassed 19 points (11G, 8A) in 32 games with Colorado.
The product of Boston University has totaled 19 points (9G, 10A) in 59 appearances with the Avs this year.
