Hartland, WI - In the team's AHL franchise debut, the Lake Erie Monsters found themselves in a 2-0 deficit to the Milwaukee Admirals on Thursday night, but scored four unanswered goals and dropped the Admirals 4-2. The win puts the Monsters record at 1-0 in the pre-season.

Travis Fuller put the Admirals up 1-0 at the 6:37 mark of the first period when he beat Monsters goalie Mike Wall. Tyler Mosienko made it two-zip Milwaukee just over seven minutes later with his first marker of the exhibition schedule.

Monsters right wing David Jones pulled the Monsters to within one on a goal with less than five minutes to play in the first, before they got a pair of markers, scored by Justin Corbin and Mark McCutcheon, in the second stanza to grab a lead they would not relinquish.  Rob Drummond added the final Lake Erie Goal.

Maxime Daigneault, playing the first two periods, stopped 10 of 13 shots for the Admirals before giving way to Dov Grumet-Morris in the third. Grumet-Morris swatted aside all five shots he saw.

Wall lived up to his name for the Monsters, denying the Admirals on 30 of 32 shots.

The Monsters will finish their exhibition slate tonight in Chicago versus the Wolves at 8:00 p.m.
