The Lake Erie Monsters travel to Allstate Arena in Glenview, Ill., Wednesday night to play the defending Calder Cup champion Chicago Wolves in their final road game of the season. The Monsters are 14-21-1-3 on the road this year.

Wednesday’s matchup is also the second and final meeting of the season between the clubs, as the Monsters dropped a 5-4 contest to the Wolves on November 19th at Quicken Loans Arena. In the loss, Marty Sertich led the Monsters with two goals while Brian Willsie and Chris Stewart added a goal apiece for Lake Erie. Goalie Jason Bacashihua turned away 17 of 22 shots in the game. The Monsters hold an all-time mark of 1-2 against the Wolves.

After Wednesday’s game, the Monsters return to The Q Saturday night for their final game of the regular season when they host the Manitoba Moose at 7:30 p.m. The game is also Fan Appreciation Night, and the Monsters will be giving away more than $100,000 in prizes.
