The Monsters look to continue their defensive dominance tonight against the Texas Stars. The Monsters shutout Texas on Tuesday and then shutout the Houston Aeros on Wednesday. The Monsters have not allowed a goal in over 140 minutes of play.

• Texas is second overall in the Western Conference in goals against, giving up just 14 so far this season.

• Monsters goaltender Tyler Weiman is second among goalies in minutes played with 361.
• Monsters defenseman Kevin Montgomery is the only rookie in the AHL to record a short handed goal so far this season.
• Lake Erie forwards Chris Durno and Darren Haydar each enter tonight's game with four-game point streaks.
