Hey, Monsters fans, are you looking for something fun to do this Halloween weekend? If your planner is still empty, come down to The Q for what is sure to be an exciting and entertaining weekend of hockey, as your Lake Erie Monsters are set to play three games in just as many days.
The fun starts Friday, when the Monsters host the Peoria Rivermen at 7:30 p.m. The first 5,000 fans will receive a free glow-in-the-dark Monsters t-shirt compliments of Tri-C. It’s also dollar dog Friday, as hot dogs and all 16 oz. Pepsi products will be sold for only $1, presented by Sugardale, Pepsi and FOX Sports Ohio. And if fans don’t get enough on-ice action during the game, the Monsters will be holding a free postgame open skate, presented by Tri-C.
Less than 24 hours after the Rivermen and Monsters square off Friday, the two teams return to The Q for a 1:00 p.m. start during the first “Kids Day” of the season on Saturday. There will be face painting, balloon artists, trick-or-treating inside the arena and The Cleveland Zoo will be bringing in animals for the Halloween Day game!
On Sunday, the Monsters play the Abbotsford Heat for the first time in franchise history at 4:00 p.m. during another “Kids Day.” Fans are encouraged to stay afterward for the first postgame autograph session with the whole team this season! Also, the Monsters are encouraging fans to wear their Halloween costumes all weekend long!
Tickets start at just $10 and can be purchased by calling (216) 420-2000 or by visiting LakeErieMonsters.com
