What's on Tap
After playing five of their past eight games on home ice at Quicken Loans Arena, the Monsters embark on their longest road trip of the season, a six-game swing that will begin Friday night in Hamilton. After Friday's game, the team will play a game at Rochester Saturday afternoon and then head back to Hamilton for a two-game set next week.

The Monsters go up against a tough opponent in the Hamilton Bulldogs, who are currently first the North Division, first in the Western Conference and second in the overall standings. Lake Erie heads into Friday’s game holding a 1-2-0-0 record against the Bulldogs this season.

Although the Monsters are coming off a tough shootout loss to Milwaukee, they look ahead to the six-game road trip riding a four-game road-winning streak. Their overall record on the road is 7-6-0-3 while the Bulldogs are 11-5-1-1 at home.

The Monsters will be looking to shut down Hamilton's Ryan White, who is currently on a streak of scoring at least one goal in each of the past four games.

Some notes for Friday’s game:
