Season Rewind...David van der Gulik

Lake Erie forward David van der Gulik provided the Monsters with powerful offense throughout the 2010-11 campaign.

After spending the 2009-10 season playing in his hometown for the Abbotsford Heat, the Boston University product was signed by Colorado as a free agent on July 2, 2010.

He joined Lake Erie to post 36 points (15G, 21A) in 48 games this season, marking the fifth-highest point total in the Monsters’ lineup.

The crafty forward registered 10 power play points (3G, 7A) this season, along with one shorthanded tally and one game-winning lamplighter.

Van der Gulik posted three points (1G, 2A) in six games with parent club Colorado this season.
