Gerald Coleman gave up four goals on seven shots in 17:31 before getting replaced by James Reid, who finished the game with 18 saves on 20 shots in 42:23. The Monsters held the Marlies scoreless from the 19:11 mark of the first until 7:03 of the third in the 6-2 Toronto win.
