In this edition of "Get to Know", we cover Monsters right wing Greg Mauldin. Mauldin, the captain of this year's team, is currently second on the team in points (8), goals (4), and plus/minus (+5), and is third on the team in assists (4) through the first 11 games of the season. This is Mauldin's first year skating for Lake Erie in his eight-year professional career.

How does it feel to play in front of great fans, and what can that mean for a game?:   Playing in front of a loud fan base makes me forget about how tired I might be or how much pain I'm in. They make me want to dig a little deeper and play harder so that they have a reason to celebrate after the game. Nothing is better than making a big play to get the fans out of their seats.

What is your favorite way to relax on a non-game day?:  I enjoy reading or going to Barnes & Noble. I also like watching movies.

Describe a pre-game ritual you like to go through to prepare for a game:  I like to put my headphones on and juggle a soccer ball.

Who was your favorite hockey team and player while growing up?:   My favorite team was the Boston Bruins, and Mike Grier was my favorite player.

Could any of your Monsters teammates be a celebrity look-a-like?:   People say I look like Mos Def
