Hockey officially returned to Cleveland on Wednesday when the Monsters took the ice for a two-hour session at Hoover Arena to open the 2011 Training Camp.

Veterans, youngsters and players trying to make an impression took part in drills in what was a physical, intense practice from the start. A total of 30 players will be participating in this year's camp. 

New broadcaster Doug Plagens was on hand to talk to some of the players, including 2010-11 Monsters captain David Liffiton, returner Steve Oleksy and newcomer Evan Brophey.
