Following Friday’s home opener at The Q, the Monsters traveled to Syracuse for a rematch with the Crunch. While in Syracuse, broadcaster Ben Holden captured some behind-the-scenes footage of the War Memorial Coliseum for the latest installment of “On the Road.” He also captured some of the pregame warm up skate and some other items during the intermissions of Saturday’s 2-1 shootout win.

 

On Monday, Holden recapped the weekend games against Syracuse and took a look ahead at Lake Erie’s six-game road trip which begins Saturday. The Monsters will travel to Oklahoma and Texas for games against four different teams: the Oklahoma City Barons, San Antonio Rampage, Texas Stars and Houston Aeros. The Barons are the new primary affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers and they are making their AHL season debut.
